M.F Husain born September 17th, 1915 is famous for his paintings. According to Forbes magazine, he has been called the "Picasso of India".Recently he has become more controversial. Reason as follows
Paintings of Hindu Gods and Godesses and Mother India all naked. Hindu Gods and Godesses and Mother India why? why are they all naked? Why should he depict the belief, the respect, the BHAKTI all naked? Why cant they be clad as Hindus see them. Complete adorned in beautiful silk clothing with gold and gem jewellry. Does he think that by potraying God naked it made the painting look beautiful? How less beautiful will it be with more colours and decency. All I can say is that it is art of Pornography by giving diety name.

What surprises me is "at this age" is it the only thing he could think of and paint? How about something which gives some meaning into life, how about just the picture of a waterfall, sunset. Is there a shortfall of topics. How about the cruelty animals face, how about the cruelty towards mother nature.

1. Because he CAN and nobody (no HINDU or INDIAN) does anything about it.
2. Because Hindus and Indians derive more pride and pleasure in being perceived as being secular and intellectual by the rest of the world than in having faith and commitment towards their religious beliefs and country
3. Because he is a Muslim and raping the Hindu Dharma and ethos of the Land is the most sacrosanct thing for him to do
4. Because he has the Religious Sanction by his religion to do such things against anyone non-Islamic
5. Because we are more interested in India's victory over Australia in cricket that in worrying about these things !!
6. Because we have our Shabana Azmis', Parakash Karats', Sonia Gandhis', Karunanidhis', Joythi Basus' and Manmohan Singhs' who adore and patronize him for doing such things
7. Because doing such things is warranted to be called "progressive", "forward thinking" and "intellectual" in India
8. Because Pillaging the Culture of Hindus and Plundering the land of Bharath is a short cut to success and immortality in India from the days of the Mohammed Gori and Ghazni to the days of Babar's and Akbar's to the days of Macaulay and Mohammed Ali Jinnah to this very Day of Sonia Mario and M.F. Hussein

Wish this A-Hole is stripped naked and paraded in the streets of mother India as a mark of respect to his art.
If he is infact so artistic and talented and progressive and blah blah wonder why he doesn't even attempt to depict Allah or Mohammed in his Paints forget about painting them naked !!
However much I get frustrated and think about this I end up with the same conclusion all this and much more happens only for one reason because of the death of "Hindu Asmita" in the land of Hindus.

Hindus did revolt against it. Yes it took them 26 years to revolt against. But better late than never. Yes he has played with our emotions and I completely agree with you to strip him and parade him across just as a symbol of respect to his art.
Simple! Madhuri and Ash lost their charm, Budda wants to be in the limelight, he took this cocept of stripping Hindu Deities :)
Hmmm good concept that you have choosen to begin your blog with. Hmmm this is news to me. i didnt know about this at all. This is ridiculous, how could one do such a thing and still no action has been taken on this mad act.

Yipppeee Hussain is no more an Indian.. Such a sigh of relief.. Nope!! he still angers me.. Boils my blood. Recent "Painting" (So called, I feel his paintings bizzare and ugly and if am held at gun point would I agree its art. It rather looks like a child's painting of some sort). Anyways, recent painting was about Bharata Mata being raped by a bull. This picture according to the recently married youn.. Oops OLD man suggested it was his depiction of Mumbai terror attack.
